Artikel 8. Nicht durch Urheberrecht geschützte Werke

• Urheberrecht erstreckt sich nicht auf:
  • a) Offizielle Dokumente (Gesetze, Gerichtsurteile, etc.) oder deren offizielle Übersetzungen;
  • b) Staatssymbole und offizielle Zeichen des Staates (Flaggen, Wappen, Orden, Geldzeichen, etc.);
  • c) Ausdrucksformen der Folklore;
  • d) Tagesnachrichten und Fakten von einfacher informationeller Natur.

• the objects of the folk art whose authors are unknown
• laws, court rulings, other official documents
• official symbols (flags, coats of arms, insignia etc.) that are approved by the state organs and organizations

Comment – The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is a self-proclaimed state. While de-facto independent, it is regarded as a part of Moldova by most countries. Nevertheless it is supposed that the author has agreed with the uncopyrightability of this work.
