You should remove this line:
HotCat.isCommonsVersion = false;
You are hotlinking in MediaWiki:Gadget-HotCat.js the Commons version, so it is the Commons version that runs here. If you then lie to the script and tell it that it wasn't the Commons version, that may have unknown side effects. Set this to false only if you physically copy the script from the commons to here.
